It is a cuvee blend of 2014 Sauvignon Blanc created from six of Lake County’s wineries: Cache Creek Vineyards & Winery, Shannon Ridge Family of Wines, Shed Horn Cellars, Six Sigma Ranch & Winery, Smiling Dogs Ranch and Steele Wines. The Salmanazar is hand-etched and painted with an image from this year’s John R. Clarke watercolor on silk painting. The cuvee blend was crafted by Jed Steele of Steele Wines.

Rat Pack Yacht Cruise

This will be a grand adventure for ten people aboard the famous “Rendezvous” yacht Captained by Bob Braito. You will depart from the Buckingham Marina and step back into an era of famous Hollywood glamour. While you travel the waters of Clear Lake you will listen to that era of music provided by Tony Neves, enjoy wines from the Fetzer Family served by Jim Fetzer paired with an array of appetizers prepared by Carleen Butler of Ceago Del Lago. You will dock at the pier of Ceago Del Lago and have a private tour with Jim, then dine on a gourmet lunch prepared by Park Place Restaurant. Then indulge yourselves fireside with a farm fresh brick oven baked dessert. You will then board the “Rendezvous” for your return trip to Buckingham marina. Lake County Quilt Trail

A 4’ X 4’ quilt block entitled “Emerald Star” will be part of the Lake County Quilt Trail.  The Quilt Trail is the first in California and has expanded from barns and buildings to the Waterside Trail made up of docks and lakeside structures.  This block was custom designed for the 2016 Wine Auction, hand drawn and painted.  The LCQT is comprised of artists, designers and painters who generously provide their talent and time to beautify our county.  Join the LCQT in the celebration of our community by bidding on this beautiful quilt block.

A Year of Wine, Food, Art & More

The Lake County Wine Studio in Upper Lake hosts one of our Lake County wineries and a featured artist monthly accompanied by appetizers the first Friday and Saturday of each month February through December. The winning bidder will gain entry for two people to either the Friday or Saturday of each month. You will enjoy sampling the wines, meeting the winemakers and the artist while enjoying local cuisine. “Flights & Lights”

Travel back in history as you and nine friends sail San Francisco Bay at sunset on board the presidential yacht USS Potomac. This historic vessel, one of only three presidential yachts still in existence, was used by Franklin Delano Roosevelt from 1936 until his death in 1945. Five million dollars was spent over a 12 year period to restore this 165 foot-long vessel and preserve it as a floating national monument.  As you sail you will be treated to appetizers and Lake County Wines.
