What to Wear

Our event is casual/festive — meaning fun, summery and colorful. Light materials for the warm days, a wrap or jacket for the cool evening and comfortable shoes are suggested. Don’t forget a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen if you are out in the sun.

Weather

The weather in September in Lake County is fantastic. September can often have periods of temperatures in the mid-90s. Regardless of how hot it is during the day, the temperature almost invariably cools down at night. Remember to bring layers!

Parking

There is ample parking on Saturday at the Live Auction Celebration reserved for attendees. Limos and ride service vehicles can drop off and pick up at guest registration.

Tasting and Bidding

The 2018 Lake County Wine Auction was a gala evening under the stars at Boatique Winery, one of the areas most impressive venues. We started the evening by tasting food from a selection of 10 juried purveyors and wines from all over the county. Then as the sun set, we enjoyed a gourmet tasting menu. After the live auction, we danced the night away and enjoyed treats from at an after hours taco bar.
